INTRODUCTION TO THE PROJECT One of the world’s biggest and best symphonic orchestras ( Czech National Symphony Orchestra ) ,two exceptional world-famous soloists : violinist Barbara Agostinelli and on the piano Achille Gallo ; original music composed especially for this disc ( “ Soundtrack for a Film which has not yet been made “) by Alessandro Molinari , who is one of the most esteemed Italian composers of music for films ; the outstanding recording technique using the most up-to-date technologies available today thanks to both Marco Lincetto and Goffredo Gibellini : AN EPOCH-MAKING DISC!!! The disc is divided into two parts : the first devoted to the millenarian suite for violin, piano and orchestra ANNO DOMINI 2012 , the second part to a series of pieces composed for two violins and piano, but still in the composer’s evocative and highly descriptive style. The object of this disc is to break down another barrier: one which would divide Music into “ genres” and “ categories “.... The powerful melodies, the immanence of sound produced by a powerful section comprising six horns , evoke the music of John Williams rather than that of Morricone : but are still at the absolute top on the artistic and sound level. The final piece is the Suite for solo Violin and Piano based on the leading themes of the renowned television programme “ BLU NOTTE “ broadcast by RAI 3. In the booklet the introduction is by Carlo Lucarelli. The striking photos in the graphic sections are by photographers Paolo Tosti and Ilenco Tracmot.
